The Corsair-X is Arai’s top-shelf race helmet, and it shows. Built from decades of design experience and a zero-compromise approach to rider protection, this lid is engineered for serious performance. With race-tested features like the VAS shield system, next-level airflow, and a plush Eco Pure liner, this one’s built to go fast and stay cool.

Shield System
The VAS (Variable Axis System) shield setup sits lower on the shell, improving aerodynamics and impact deflection while still allowing full shield operation. It’s smooth, easy to use, and locks down tight when needed.

Shield Lock
The latch system locks the face shield securely in place to prevent it from popping open unexpectedly. Plus, there's a handy de-mist position to crack it open slightly for fog control.

Shell Construction
The PB SNC2 shell combines Super Fiber and synthetic fibers originally designed for F1 visor panels. It’s hand-assembled using a proprietary resin for stronger bonds and a lighter build.

Ventilation
Type 12 diffusers are longer and straighter than before, working with the AirWing spoiler to boost stability and airflow. Vents have three settings and form a tight seal to block out noise and water. Forehead vent (IC Duct5) adds 11 percent more flow than the last-gen Corsair.

Interior Comfort
Inside, you’ll find the Eco Pure liner. It’s antimicrobial, soft, and fully removable. It keeps things fresh and lets you tweak the fit with adjustable temple padding. Emergency-release cheek pads add an extra safety layer.

Visibility
Comes with the VAS MAX Vision shield and a clear Pinlock insert for fog-free riding year-round.

Fit Profile
Intermediate Oval. Designed for heads that are longer front to back than side to side. It’s a neutral fit that works for most riders.

Snell 2020 and DOT approved.
