Shopping for motorcycle gear online always comes with a question at the back of your mind: what if the fit's off?

If you're riding in Vancouver, we've made that problem disappear. Order anything from Motohut and Drop it off in-store for Free. No shipping label, no drop-off lineup at the post office, no return fee eating into your refund.

How It Works

Place your order online like you normally would. When it arrives, try the gear on at home, take your time, throw it on with the rest of your kit, sit on the bike if you want to. If it's not right, bring it into our Vancouver shop and we'll process the return or exchange on the spot.

That's it. No printing labels, no hunting down a box, no waiting two weeks for the refund to clear.

What you'll need:

  • The item in its original condition and packaging
  • Your order confirmation (email or order number works)
  • A return window of 30 days from delivery

Why This Matters for Motorcycle Gear

Motorcycle apparel isn't like buying a t-shirt. Sizing varies wildly between European and North American brands. Armor placement that works on one body doesn't work on another. A helmet's internal shape (round, intermediate oval, long oval) matters as much as the size on the label.

You can read every review on the internet and still not know if a Schuberth fits your head shape or if those Pando Moto jeans hit right at the knee. The only real test is putting the gear on.

By offering free in-store returns for Vancouver customers, we're basically giving you the try-before-you-commit experience without making you drive to the shop first. Order on Friday, try it on Saturday morning, ride into the shop Saturday afternoon if it's not working out.

Where to Find Us

MotoHut is located in downtown Vancouver at 505 Burrard Street inside Bentall Centre. We're a short walk from Burrard SkyTrain station and easy to reach from the North Shore, Kitsilano, Mount Pleasant, and the rest of the Lower Mainland.

If you're coming in for a return, it helps to submit the form at Return/Refund page or message us at hello@motohut.ca or call (604)200-5278 so we know to expect you — but walk-ins are welcome during open hours.

What You Can Return In-Store

The in-store return option covers basically our entire range:

  • Helmets (Schuberth, Shoei, and other curated brands)
  • Riding jackets and pants
  • Motorcycle jeans, including Pando Moto and Boss Dyn
  • Gloves and boots
  • Base layers and armor
  • Bluetooth communication systems like Cardo

A few items can't be returned for safety and hygiene reasons but the bulk of what riders buy is covered.

A Few Things to Remeber

For the return to go smoothly, gear needs to come back unused and in its original packaging. Tags on, liners intact, helmet box not crushed. We get it: you want to try things on properly, but tried on at home and worn on a ride are very different things, and we have to be able to resell the item.

If the original packaging is missing, we may need to apply a small administrative fee. Damaged items or delivery issues should be flagged within 48 hours of delivery so we can sort them out quickly.

Why Buy Local When the Internet Exists

Honest answer?
Because motorcycle gear is one of the few categories where local still wins.

You get to talk to people who actually ride. You get to feel the weight of a jacket, check how the armor sits, see if the helmet shell is actually as compact as it looks in photos. You get returns handled in five minutes instead of two weeks of email back-and-forth.

And when something goes wrong with a piece of gear six months down the road, a zipper, a visor mechanism, a warranty claim, having a real shop you can walk into beats trying to chase down a customer service email from across the country.

Ready to Ride?

Browse the full collection, place your order, and if you're in Vancouver, know that the safety net is already there. Free in-store returns, real riders behind the counter, and gear we'd put on ourselves.

Got a question before you buy? Email hello@motohut.ca or pop by 505 Burrard Street and we'll talk shop.
