If you ride with an Alpinestars Tech-Air® airbag system, you're already investing in some of the most advanced motorcycle protection technology on the market. But what happens when your airbag deploys? Or if something doesn’t seem quite right with your vest?

Let’s walk through everything you need to know about Tech-Air® support, including warranty coverage, service process, and how to contact Alpinestars directly.

🦺 What Is the Tech-Air® System?

Tech-Air® is Alpinestars' state-of-the-art airbag platform, designed to protect riders in milliseconds during an accident. It uses built-in sensors and a control unit to monitor your movements and automatically deploy the airbag when a crash is detected—no tethers or external sensors needed.

Available systems include:

  • Tech-Air® 3 – slim and street-focused

  • Tech-Air® 5 – everyday all-rounder

  • Tech-Air® 10 – road and track protection, including hips

  • Tech-Air® Off-Road – for rally and enduro terrain

  • Tech-Air® Race & Street – older models still supported

  • Tech Air Plasma

🧠 Pro Tips for Tech-Air® Owners

  • Charge the system regularly—most units give 25–30 hours of ride time per full charge.

  • Use the Tech-Air® app (Android/iOS) to update firmware and monitor system health.

  • Don’t continue riding after a deployment. The system won’t work again until serviced.

  • Keep it dry and avoid crushing the vest when storing.
